Footwear - Vocabulary
This International Standard defines terms used in thefootwear industry, in English, French, Spanish andItalian. The terms and their definitions are listedalphabetically in English. In the annexes, all the terms are listed alphabeticallyin English, French, Spanish and Italian, so that theuser of this International Standard can easily find thecorresponding definition and the equivalent terms inthe different languages. This International Standard is intended to facilitatecommunication in the footwear sector. NOTE In addition to terms in English and French, two ofthe three official CEN languages, this InternationalStandard gives the equivalent terms in Italian and Spanish;these are published under the responsibility of the memberbody/National Committee for Italy and Spain. However,only the terms and definitions given in the officiallanguages can be considered as CEN terms anddefinitions.
